For the 2006 season Chris is running with the Derhaag Motorsports team out of Shakopee MN. Led by veteran road racer and Trans AM legend, Jim Derhaag the team is in excellent hands to produce great 2006 results. All crew and team positions are covered with employees from Jim's existing team, making for a very experienced and well bonded group of racers. Overview
The CB Motorsports team is running an all new Lexus Riley Daytona Prototype in the Rolex Grand American Road Racing Series in 2005. Headed by Chris Bingham who won the 2001 and 2002 Grand Am Rolex Series GTS Championship, the team will participate in events across North America.
Mission statement
CB Motorsports will operate and maintain our vehicle, equipment, image and focus to the highest level of professionalism possible. Our objective is to put ourselves in a position to win the championship and we will always perform and participate to the best of our abilities. CB Motorsports will assemble the best possible drivers, crew and equipment to make this objective achievable. We will also represent pacific northwest members and sponsors at road racings highest level as well as introduce and share the racing passion to all of our fans, clients, partners and family.
Goals
Develop a team and vehicle capable of challenging for the 2005 Grand American Road Racing Series Championship.
Create an effective and beneficial way to introduce sponsors and members to participate in the exploding scene of North American road racing.
Participate at each event scheduled by the Grand American Road Racing Series sanctioning body.
Develop a second program to support an additional Daytona Prototype or the Grand American Road Racing Series cup series. |
